Scandinavian peoples, also sometimes called Nordic peoples, are a diverse group. These include Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, and other groups of peoples who live on or near the Scandinavian peninsula. Scandinavian peoples, also sometimes called Nordic peoples, are a diverse group. These include Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, and other groups of peoples who live on or near the Scandinavian peninsula. This group will be examined in more detail and possibly reorganized as the site develops.

c. 1938 - 1945. World War II. Germany under the rule of Hitler and Japan attempt military conquest of Europe and Asia. The United Kingom, the United States led by Roosevelt, and Russia (the USSR) under Stalin are their chief opponents and combine to defeat Germany and Japan.
