HistoryThe peoples of Northeast Europe have roots in prehistory, but these are obscure and can only be examined through archeology. They are also obscure in antiquity, but a few hints can be considered. Linguistic evidence suggests that the Indo-European speaking poeples may have originated here. In classical and medieval times, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and other Northeast European peoples began to have a written history. Psychology including behavioral elements, mind, behavior patterns, developmental psychology, mental disorers, personality, and social psychology may be useful. Science is not as useful to Northeast European peoples as other areas. Physics and chemistry are less directly useful than astronomy, earth science, and biology. |
