Study of the development of nations through history is not being done at present although histories of particular nations are considered. Western civilization is a major category. Anglic nations tend to be larger. Latin nations are more numerous and include a diverse group. Italic nations and French nations can be considered. Hispanic nations are a large group and include Hispanic Mexican American nations, Hispanic Colombian American nations, Hispanic Peruvian American nations, and Hispanic Argentine American nations. Lusitanic nations are also in the Latin group. Germanic peoples, Northeast European nations, Balkan peoples, and Scandinavian nations are important. Asiatic nations can be considered. Middle Eastern nations have groups which include Levantine nations, Persian nations, Mesopotamian nations, North African nations, and Arabian nations. South Asian, Central Asian, and Oriental nations can be considered. Southeast Asian nations include those of Mainland Southeast Asia, the Southeast Asian Archipelagoes, Australia, and Polynesia. African nations can be considered. Eastern africa has groups of Northern East Africa, Interior East Africa, and Central East Africa. Western Africa includes nations of Southern Coastal West Africa, Western Coastal West Africa, and Interior West Africa. Central Africa and Southern Africa are significant. Nations where American Indian peoples have been prominent are also important, and include Meso-American Indians, South American Indians, and North American Indians. Communities and social structure and change are important, but are not conidered in general. |
