Somalia

Somalia is a nation in Eastern Africa.

History

I do not yet have details of prehistory including early prehistory, middle prehistory, or late prehistory. Antiquity including the 5th millennium BC, 4th millennium BC, 3rd millennium BC, 2nd millennium BC, and early 1st millennium BC can be connected.

Classical and medieval times including early classical and late classical times can be considered. Early medieval times including the 6th century, 7th century, 8th century, 9th century, and 10th century can be considered. Late medieval times including the 11th century, 12th century, 13th century, 14th century, and 15th century can be considered.

Modern history

In the 16th century the Portuguese entered the area. I do not yet have details of the early 16th century, early mid 16th century, mid 16th century, late mid 16th century, or late 16th century. In the 17th century it was ruled by local rulers, but I do not yet hve details of the early 17th century, the early mid 17th century, the late-mid 17th century, or the late 17th century.

In the 18th century including the early 18th century, early mid 18th century, mid 18th century, late-mid 18th century, and late 18th century I have little information about its rule by local rulers. I do not have many details of the 19th century, including the early 19th century, early mid 19th century, mid 19th century, late-mid 19th century, or late 19th century. The 20th century can be examined, but I do not yet have many details of the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, mid 20th century, or late-mid 20th century. The late 20th century including the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, and late 1990s can be connected.

The early 21st century can be connected. The early 2000s including 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 can be connected. The late 2000s including 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 can be considered. 2010 including the first quarter 2010 and the second quarter 2010 can be connnected. The third quarter 2010 and fourth quarter 2010 can be connected.

The early 2010s can be connected. 2011 can be connected. The first quarter 2011 can be connected. January 2011 including 2011 week 1, 2011 week 2, 2011 week 3, 2011 week 4, 2011 week 5, and 2011 week 6 can be connected. I have not yet examined the future.

American Indian peoples including those of the United States can be connected.

Communities can be connected.

Social structure and change including social types and social structure will be included as the site develops. Social change including particular changes and movements, social change processes,and social change factors can be connected.

Institutions including government, economics, education, and families can be connected. Religion including particular religions, religious organization, religious practice, and religious belief can be connected. Culture including behavioral culture, conceptual culture, and material culture can be connected. Anthropology including particular groups, human geography, human ecology, physical anthropology, demography, and social foundations can be connected. Personal studies including biography, psychology, and the human body can be connected. Science including biology, earth science, astronomy, chemistry, and physics can be connected.
