Nicaragua

Nicaragua is a nation of Central America.

Its history will be discussed as the site develops. I have no information about it in prehistory, antiquity, or classical and medieval times. Its history is being treated as entirely modern. I do not yet have details of the 16th century. I lack details of the 17th century including the early 17th century, early mid 17th century, mid 17th century, late mid 17th century, and late 17th century. I lack details of the 18th century including the early 18th century, early mid 18th century, mid 18th century, late-mid 18th century, or late 18th century. I also lack details on most of the 19th century including the early 19th century. It gained independence from Spain in the early mid 19th century, and was briefly part of the United Provinces of Central America. I do not have details of the mid 19th century, late-mid 19th century, or late 19th century.

The 20th century including the early 20th century, early-mid 20th century, mid 20th century, late-mid 20th century, late 20th century including the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, and late 1990s can be considered.
