Kenya is one of the 40 most populous countries in the world.

History

Prehistory

In the 18th century, Oman dominated the area. although I do not yet have details of the early 18th century, early mid 18th century, mid 18th century, late-mid 18th century, or late 18th century.

In the 19th century, Oman continued dominate the area at first, but British and Germans began to predominate. They reached a settlement which gave the region to British rule. I do not yet have details of the early 19th century, early-mid 19th century, or mid 19th century. I do not yet have details of the late mid 19th century including the early 1860s, late 1860s, early 1870s, or late 1870s. In the late 19th century, the British established colonial rule. I do not yet have details of the early 1880s, late 1880s, early 1890s, or late 1890s.

20th century

In the early 20th century, the British built the Kenya-Uganda railway. Details of the early 1900s, late 1900s, early 1910s, and late 1910s are not yet present. In the early mid 20th century, European farmers betan to settle in the interior. The early 1920s, late 1920s, early 1930s and late 1930s are not yet detailed. In the mid 20th century after World War II, the Mau Mau rebellion occurred. I have no details of the early 1940s, late 1940s, early 1950s, and late 1950s can be considered. In the late-mid 20th century the British granted independence to Kenya. The early 1960s, late 1960s, early 1970s, and late 1970s can be connected.

The late 20th century were marked by an attempted coup and some political agitation related to one-party rule and the fairness of elections. The early 1990s can be considered.
