Wuhan is one of the largest cities of China and is one of the 30 largest in the world. History Classical and medieval history Wuhan seems to have been founded in late classical times, specifically the 3rd century CE. (223 CE). I do not have details of the 4th century CE, or the 5th century CE. It grew during early medieval times, although I do not yet have details of the 6th century CE, 7th century CE, 8th century CE, 9th century CE, or 10th century CE.
