Miami

Miami is an important city of the United States.

History

Miami was founded in modern times. There was some Spanish occupation of the site in the 16th century. Little is known of the 17th century or 18th century. It was founded in the 19th century. I have no details of the early 19th century. In the early mid 19th century, there were fights with the Seminole Indians. I have no details of the mid 19th century or the late-mid 19th century, but the modern city was incorporated in the 19th century (1896).

During the 20th century including the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, mid 20th century, and late-mid 20th century it has grown extensively. I do not yet have details of the late 20th century including the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, or late 1990s.

The early 21st century including the early 2000s can be considered. The late 2000s including 2006, 2007, and 2008 can be considered. 2009 can be connected far as the first quarter 2009 and second quarter 2009. The third quarter 2009 including events of July 2009, August 2009, and September 2009 can be connected. The fourth quarter 2009 including events of October 2009, November 2009, and December 2009 can be considered. 2010 can be connected. The early 2010s can be connected. 2011 can be connected. The first quarter 2011 can be connected. January 2011 including 2011 week 1, 2011 week 2, 2011 week 3, 2011 week 4, 2011 week 5, and 2011 week 6 can be connected. February 2011 and March 2011 can be connected. The second quarter 2011 and third quarter 2011 can be connected. Its future has not yet been examined.

Connections to peoples of the world are chiefly to Western Civilization. This belongs to Anglic peoples, particularly Anglo-American peoples, and the United States, but there may be connections to Hispanic peoples as well. Other communities are not yet well connected. Social structure and change including social change, social types, and social structure will be considered.

Institutions including government, economics, education, and families can be connected. Religion including particular religions, religious organization, religious practice, and religious belief can be connected. Culture including behavioral culture, conceptual culture, and material culture can be considered. Anthropology including particular groups, human geography, human ecology, physical anthropology, demography, and social foundations can be connected. Personal studies including biography, psychology, and the human body can be connected. Science including biology, earth science, astronomy, chemistry, and physics can be connected to to Miami.
