Karachi is the largest city, or urban agglomeration, of Pakistan and is one of the 15 largest in the world. Its history will be examined as the site develops. I do not yet have details on it for prehistory, antiquity, classical and medieval history. Modern history is easier to follow. Karachi is considered to have been founded in the 18th century, specifically the late 18th century (1795). I lack details on its development through the 19th century including the early 18th century, early mid 19th century, mid 19th century, late-mid 19th century, or late 19th century. I am principally concerned with the 20th century. Details through the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, and mid 20th century are also absent. The late mid 20th century including the early 1960s, late 1960s, early 1970s, and late 1970s can be connected. The late 20th century is of great interest. I also lack information on it through the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, and late 1990s. |
