Atlanta is a major city in the United States. Its history is entirely modern. It was founded in the 19th century. Settlement begain in the early-mid 19th century (1822), and the town was incorporated in the mid 19th century (1847). It grew significantly in the late-mid 19th century and the late 19th century. It has grown substantially during the 20th century. I do not yet have details of the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, mid 20th century, or late-mid 20th century.
