North African peoples

North African peoples include the peoples of the Mediterranean coast of North Africa except for Egypt. They also include some of the peoples of the North Atlantic coast of North Africa, and peoples of the Sahara Desert. They also include the medieval peoples of medieval Islamic Spain and their modern descendants to the extent that they can be recognized.

History

Prehistory

The early prehistory of Morocco and Algeria is knot yet well known. The Plioene, early Pleistocene, and early mid Pleistocene can be connected. There is evidence of habitation in the late mid Pleistocene. The late Pleistocene is not well known. I do not yet have details of middle prehistory including the period beginning 50,000 years ago, the period beginning 40,000 years ago, the period beginning 30,000 years ago, or the period beginning 20,000 years ago. I do not yet have details of late prehistory including the early 8th millennium BC, the late 8th millennium BC, the early 7th millennium BC, the late 7th millennium BC, the early 6th millennium BC, or the late 6th millennium BC..

Antiquity

Morocco and Algeria can be examined. I do not yet have details of the 5th millennium BC including the early 5th millennium BC, the early mid 5th millennium BC, the mid 5th millennium BC, the late mid 5th millennium BC, or the late 5th millennium BC. The 4th millennium BC including the early 4th millenium BC, the early mid 4th millennium BC, the mid 4th millennium BC, the late mid 4th millennium BC, and the late 4th millennium BC can be connected. The 3rd Millennium BC including the early 3rd millennium BC, the early mid 3rd millennium BC, the mid 3rd millennium BC, the late mid 3rd millennium BC, and the late 3rd millennium BC can be connected. In the early first millennium BC, this region was colonized by the Phoenician peoples as well as others. In classical and medieval times, nations such as Algeria and Morocco were included in the Roman Empire, but were conquered by Islamic peoples, which imposed their own culture. I do not yet have details of early classical times. In early classical times, these were mostly ruled by the Phoenician empire of Carthage, although I do not yet have details of the 5th century BC, the 4th century BC, the 3rd century BC, the 2nd century BC, or the 1st century BC. In late classical times, these were ruled mostly by the Roman Empire, and came under Western Roman rule, which eventually collapsed. These were then invaded from Europe. I do not yet have details for the 1st century CE, 2nd century CE, 3rd Century CE, 4th century CE, or 5th century CE. In early medieval times, they were conquered by Arabians and converted to Islam. I do not yet have details of the 6th century CE, 7th century CE, 8th century CE, 9th century CE, or 10th century CE. I do not yet have details for late medieval times including the 11th century, 12th century, 13th century, 14th century, or 15th century.

In modern times, they have been active but not among the major powers. I have connections with Morocco and Algeria. I do not yet have details for the 16th century including the early 16th century, early-mid 16th century, mid 16th century, late-mid 16th century, or late 16th century. I do not yet have details on the 17th century including the early 17th century, early mid 17th century, mid 17th century, late-mid 17th century, or late 17th century.
