The history of these peoples is not well known. Prehistory and antiquity are the province of archaeologists. There is little known of classical and medieval history, except for oral histories and traditions, and a few inscriptions from ruins in Meso-America. Most of their recorded history occurs in modern times, with European contact. Their future is obscure. |

The Americas are believed to have been uninhabited in early prehistory. Modern humans are believed to have reached the Americas sometime in middle prehistory. Middle American Indian peoples show evidence of early habitation. South American Indian peoples have some evidence of early habitation. North American Indian peoples have been the best examined of all these peoples, and show some evidence of early habitation. I do not yet have details of the period beginning 50,000 years ago, the period beginning 40,000 years ago, the period beginning 30,000 years ago, or the period beginning 20,000 years ago.
Cultures were developing in late prehistory, but the details are not yet entirely clear. Middle American peoples show evidence of development. Among South American peoples I little information. There is some evidence of North American peoples. I do not yet have details of the early 8th millennium BC, the late 8th millennium BC, the early 7th millennium BC, the late 7th millennium BC, the early 6th millennium BC, or the late 6th millennium BC.

These peoples have been subjugated and submerged during modern history. Middle American and South American peoples were generally conquered and absorbed by Hispanic peoples, North Americans by Anglic peoples. They can be examined in the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, 19th century, and 20th century.
Their future has not yet been well examined, but will include examination of Middle American peoples such as those found in Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica; South American Indian peoples such as those found in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay; and North American Indian peoples such as those found in the United States and Canada. The near future can be examined using Middle American peoples such as those of Mexico, South American Indian peoples such as those of Brazil, Colombian, Argentine, Peru, and Venezuela, and North American Indian peoples such as those of the United States. Events of next month can be examined using Middle American peoples such as those of Mexico, South American indian peoples such as those of Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, and Ecuador, and North American Indian peoples including those of the United States and Canada October 2009 overlaps with the present, and November 2009 is not yet well examined. Next quarter is limited to peoples of the United States. Next year has not yet been examined. The middle future including the next five years, next twenty years, next century, and next five centuries is obscure. The far future is also obscure.
