Northern East Africa

Also known as the Horn of Africa, these peoples include those of Ethiopia, Somalia,, and Eritrea.

Interior East Africa

The inland interior of Africa includes Sudan and Chad.

Central East Africa

These mostly tropical countries include Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
