Inner planets

There are four inner planetary systems in Solar System. These include Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.

Mercury

Venus

Dist From Sun 0.72 AU
Radius 0.95 Earth radii
Rotation period 243 Days
Mass 0.82 Earth masses

Earth

The earth system consists of the Earth and a single natural satellite, the moon.

Mars

Dist From Sun 1.32 AU
Radius 0.53 Earth radii
Rotation period 24.6 Hrs
Mass 0.11 Earth masses

Calculations from chemistry are helpful, but this relies heavily on other areas of astronomy, and somewhat on earth science, with very little on biology.

This depends somewhat on physics including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, relativity, quantum mechanics, and the structure of matter.
