Personality

Personality has to do with patterns and tendencies of behavior in individuals.

Personality

Personality theory is not well studied, but is an important area of psychology.

This is connected weakly to sciences including not so much physics, chemistry, astronomy, or earth science as biology. Other areas of personal studies such as the human body, other psychology, and biographies are much more closely connected.

Other areas of knowledge such as Anthropology will be connected as this site develops. Culture including material culture, conceptual culture, and behavioral culture will be significant. Institutions including families, education, economics, government, and religion will be useful in studies of personality.

Sociology including social structure and change will have some application. Communities including Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York City can be connected. Peoples of the world including nations, Asiatic peoples, Western Civilization, African peoples, and American Indian peoples can be connected. Nations including the United States, China, India, and Indonesia can be connected.

Studies of personality have developed through history including prehistory, antiquity, and classical and medieval times. In modern history, their development has been slow. Details of the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, 19th century, and 20th century have not yet been examined. They are likely to continue into the future.
