Religion is variously useful. Religious traditions also influence personal studies. Pagan religion including European pagan, Asian pagan, African pagan, American Indian pagan, and neopagan religion is also useful. Abrahamic religion is especially significant. Judaism can be connected. Christianity including primitive christianity, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestantism, and Mormonism can be considered. Islam is also important. Asiatic religions are also important. Persian religion including Zoroastrianism, Manicheanism, and Mithraism can be connected. Indian religion including Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Jainism can be connected. Oriental religion including Confucianism, Taoism, and Shinto can be connected. Secularism can be connected. Government has influence on personal studies. Particular governments have some connection. International government such as modern compacts, world government such as the old League of Nations and the United Nations, regional associations, special purpose associations, and temporary allances has some connection. Colonial empires, and traditional empires can be connected, National, and local governments can be considered. Government activity including state relations such as warfare, diplomacy, and espionage, administration, and succession including inheritance, election, seizure, and appointment will be useful. Government structure including forms of government, heads of state, executive systems, legislative systems, judicial systems, and political parties and interest groups can be connected. Law including international law, western law, Asiatic law, and tribal law can be considered.

Economics is useful. Economic systems including topics such as system behavior, system types, networks, and firms can be examined. Industries including companies such as Toyota Motor, Chevron, ING, Total and commercial and financial services with companies such as Wal-Mart, social and medical services, communication, transportation, building construction, extraction and manufacturing industries with companies such as Exxon, Royal Dutch Shell, and BP and agriculture are also useful. Economic activities including production, distribution, and consumption can be connected.

Education is also significant. Particular schools including higher education at schools such as Harvard, Cambridge, Stanford, and UC-Berkely can be connected. Secondary education, and primary education is significant. Educational organization including administration, faculty, students, and course material can be considered. Cultural institutions including performance venues, libraries, and museums can be considered. Teaching and research can be considered.

Families are influential. Particular families, kinship, parenting, and marriage are significant.
