Human life cycle

This includes divisions based on age: Gestation, infancy, childhood, adolesence, adulthood, aging, and death. These are not divided equally, some stages are longer than others.

   

Gestation

Prenatal development, including embryological and fetal stages.

Infancy

Begins with birth, continues until approximately 1 year, the time at which most children begin to walk

Childhood

Begins with end of infancy, continues until onset of puberty

Adolesence

Period of puberty

Adulthood

Divided further into stages, early, middle and late. Reproductive period.

Senescence

Can be divided into stages.

Death

Can be discussed in more detail


This is connected to the sciences, not so much physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth science, as to biology.

Other personal studies including other areas of the human body, psychology, and biography are more closely connected.

Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, human ecology, human geography, and particular groups may be useful instudy of the human life cycle. Other areas of knowledge such as culture, institutions, and sociology will be connected as this site develops.

This has been examined through history including prehistory, antiquity, classical and medieval times, and modern times. The future of these studies has not been examined closely.
