Shih Huang-Ti

Shih Huang-Ti, otherwise transliterated as Shih Huangdi is an imperial or reign name given to Chao Chang. He is considered the first emperor of China and founder of Ch'in Dynasty. He was born c. 259 BC, died c. 209 BC.

Sociology, possibly including some communities, and certainly including peoples is also important. He belongs to Asiatic peoples, particularly Oriental peoples.

Institutions are particularly vital. I know little of his family including marriage, parenting, kinship, or particular families. I know little of his connections with education including research, teaching, cultural institutions, educational organization, or schools. I know little of his connections to economics including economic activities, industry, or economic systems. He is best known for his connections to government including law, government structure, government activites, and particular governments. I know little of his significance in religion including beliefs, practice, organization, or traditions.

Culture including material culture will be important. Conceptual culture including language, graphic arts, literature, mathematics, applied science, and philosophy can be connected. Behavioral culture including customs, occupations, recreation and entertainment, and cultural events will also be significant.

Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, and human ecology may be of some use. Human geography will be of some use. Particular groups may be useful.
