Louis Pasteur

Louis Pasteur, a French scientist, is known chiefly for his work in biochemistry and microbiology. He was born in 1822 CE and died in 1895 CE.

Science is at present somewhat connected to Pasteur. Earth science may be somewhat useful. Other personal studies including studies of the human body, psychology, and connections to other biographies can also be connected. Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, human ecology, human geography and in particular European geography is also useful. As far as I know, he never visited Asia, I do not yet have connections to particular groups.

He is also connected to culture. Material culture including industrial technology, building technology, foodstuffs, clothing, transporation technology, communication technology, and other artifacts will be important. Conceptual culture including language, graphic arts, literature, mathematics, applied science, and philosophy can be connected. Behavioral culture including customs, occupations, recreation and entertainment, and cultural events can be considered.

Institutions are also significant. Family including marriage, parenting, kinship, and particular families may be significant in his life. Education including research, teaching, cultural institutions, educational organization, and particular schools can be connected. Pasteur made connections with economics including economic activities, industry, and economic systems. There seems to have been some connection with government including law, government structure, government activities, and particular governments. Religion including beliefs, practice, organization, and particular religions seems to have been moderately influential at most.

Sociology is also an important connection. Social structure and change and communities may also be useful, and peoples also. Particular nations are not yet connected. Pasteur belongs to Western civilization, particularly to Latin peoples, specifically France.

Pasteur was born in the early-mid 19th century. Much of his work was done in the mid 19th century and the late-mid 19th century. He died in the late 19th century.
