Moses

Moses was one of the most influential religious leaders in history. It is difficult to date his life with certainty, but it was sometime in the 2nd millennium BC.

Science is at present poorly connected to Moses. Other personal studies, including other biography, will eventually be useful. Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, and human ecology may be useful. Human geography will also be helpful. Asian geography is particularly applicable. Particular groups can also be connected. Culture including material culture is also significant. Conceptual culture including language, graphic arts, literature, mathematics, applied science, and philosophy can be connectee. Behavioral culture including customs, occupations, rereation and entertainment, and cultural events can be considered.

Institutions are significant. Family including marriage, parenting, kinship, and particular families is important. Education including research, teaching, cultural institutions, educational organization, and schools seems to be minimally useful. Economics including economic activity, industries, and economic systems is somewhat connected. Moses is known in government as a lawgiver, and has connections to law, government structure, government activity, and particular governments. His primary influence was in religion. Religious beliefs, practices, organization, and particular religions can be connected.

Sociology will also be useful. Social structure and change and certain communities may be significant, peoples certainly are. He belonged to Asiatic peoples, particularly to Middle Eastern peoples.

History will also be important. On this site, Moses life is assumed to fall in antiquity, most particularly sometime in the 2nd millennium BC, although it is not known exactly when.
