Science has only limited application to the life of Mohammed. Earth science is probably minimally useful. Other personal studies including he human body and psychology are more useful notably other Biographies can be connected. Predecessors include Jesus and Paul. Anthropology will be useful. Social foundations are somewhat applicable, demography is harder to apply. Human geography will also be somewhat useful. Mohammed lived in Southwest Asia. As far as is known, he never visited Europe. Physical anthropology, human ecology, and particular groups are also somewhat difficult to apply. CultureMaterial culture including industrial technology, buildings, foodstufs, dress, transportation technology, communication technology, and other artifacts is not yet well connected to his life but will be important. Conceptual culture including Language and graphic arts can be connected. He noted for writing the Quran, a work of literature. Mathematics, applied science, and philosophy are not well connected. I know little of his behavioral culture including customs, occupation, connection to performing arts, sports, or games, or cultural events. |

InstitutionsFamilies including marriage, parenting, kinship, and particular families are important, as the family of Mohammed is important to Islam. I am uncertain of his connection to education including research, teaching, cultural institutions, educational organization, or particular schools. I am also uncertain about his connection to economics including economic activity, industries, and economic systems, although he appears to have been a trader by occupation early in his career. He is closely associated with government, including law, government activity, government practice, and particular governments. Mohammed is closely connected to religion. He was an innovator in religious belief, practice, organization. The tradition he founded is in the Abrahamic family, though it is said to have some pagan elements. Sociology will be somewhat useful. His connection with social structure and change including social structure, social types, and social change will be a challenge to analyzed. Connections to communities and peoples will also be useful. I do not have many connections to specific nations. He is especially connected to Asiatic peoples. He is especially Middle Eastern peoples. He is important to North African peoples, and far less important in Western civilization, such as Anglic peoples. History is also useful. He lived during the classical and medieval period, in particular the early medieval period. |
