Isabella I

Isabella I was a queen of Spain, best known for her role in unifying the country as one of the Catholic Monarchs, and her sponsorship of Colombus. She was born in 1451 CE and died in 1504 CE. More details about her life and career will be included as the site develops further.

   

Isabella lived principally during late medieval times, but survived into the 16th century. She died in the early 16th century.
