Hu Jintao

Hu Jintao was born in 1942 in Jixi, Anhui province.

He joined the Communist Party in 1964 and in 1965 graduated from the University with a degree in hydraulic engineering. During the Cultural revolution he was sent to Gangsu province to work, and from then until 1980 rose within the Party in that area.

In 1982 he returned to Beijing and by 1984 was the head of the Communist Youth League. He left Beijing for another rural assignment. In 1988 he was named as the Secretary of the Autonomous Province of Tibet, but is reported to have spent much of the time in Beijing undergoing medical treatment. In 1992 he was appointed to the Standing Committe of the Politburo of the Communist Party, the chief executive and decision making body of the country. In 1993 he presided over the Central Party school, In 1998 he was selected as Vice President of China and vice chairman of the Party's Central Military Commission.

In 2002 he was selected as General Secretary of the Communist party. In 2003 he became the President of the People's Republic of China.

This may be connected to science, other personal studies, anthropology, culture, institutions, and sociology.

His life is contained in modern history and may be projected into the future.
