Science has limited connections to Einstein, although he is known principally for his contribution to physics. Chemistry and astronomy have little direct connection. Earth science is indirectly useful. Biology has little direct connection. Studies of the human body and psychology may be useful, and his life will be connected to biographies of other people. |

Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, and human ecology will also be connected. Human geography is also useful. Einstein lived in Europe. As far as I know he never visited Asia. Culture Material culture including industrial technology, building technology, foodstuffs, clothing, transportation technology, communication technology, and other acrticfacs may be significant.Conceptual culture including language, graphic arts, literature, mathematics, applied science, and philosophy can be connected. Behavioral culture including customs, occupations, recreation and entertainment, and cultural events will also be significant. Various institutions will also be useful. Family is significant. Marriage, parenting, kinship, and particular families can be connected. There are strong connections with education including research, teaching, cultural institutions, educational organization, and particular schools. Economics including activities, industries, and economic systems do not seem to be closely connected. There is fairly minor connection with government including law, government structure, government activity, or particular government. Religion was probably not the most important influence on his life, and I do not yeat have information on religious beliefs, practice, or organization, although there is some connection to particular traditions, as he was Jewish. Sociology including social structure and change and communities will also be useful. Peoples are also significant. Particular nations are not yet connected. Einstein was mostly a product of Western civilization. He was born and educated among Germanic peoples and lived the latter part of his life among Anglic peoples, perhaps briefly the United Kingdonm, but particulary the United States. Einstein was born in the 19th century, specifically in the late-mid 19th century. He was educated during the late 19th century. but most of his work and his death were in the 20th century. In the early 20th century he made his greatest contributions to physics. In the early-mid 20th century, Einstein became famous, but his work in physics was relatively unproductive. With the rise of Hitler in Germany, he emigrated to the United States. In the mid 20th century, he continued to work in physics and promoted various causes until his death. |
