Hernán Cortés

Hernán Cortés (also called Cortez was a Spanish soldier, best known as the leader of the Spanish conquest of the Aztec empire of Mexico. He was born in 1485 CE and died in 1547 CE. More details about his life and career will be included as the site develops further.

   

Cortez was born in late medieval times. His most memorable activities occurred in the 16th century. The early 16th century and early mid 16th century can be connected. He died in the mid 16th century.
