Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was a Roman general and statesman, largely responsible for the transformation of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. He was born 100 BC, and died in 44 BC.

   

Caesar lived in the early classical period, specifically the first century BC.

Sociology will also be important, and some communities may be. Various peoples will be. He is a prominent figure in Western civilization, especially the Latin peoples. He conquered Gaul, or what is now France, and annexed it to the Roman empire centered in what is now Italy. He had some influence on Asiatic peoples, particularly Middle Eastern peoples.

Institutions are extremely important. His family is significant. Education and economics are indirectly connected. He is best known for his role in government, but there is some connection to religion as well. Culture including behavioral culture, conceptual culture, and material culture can be considered.

Anthropology including particular groups, human geography, human ecology, physical anthropolody, demography, and social foundations may also be significant.

Science is not yet well connected to his life. Personal studies will eventually be useful. Other biographies may also be connected.
