Peoples of the world including Asiatic peoples, Western civilization, African peoples, and American Indian peoples are also significant. Nations including the United States, China, India, and Indonesia can be connected. Although the history of Protestantism had roots in classical and medieval times, it is on this site considered entirely modern. It began in the 16th century with the Reformation, and provoked warfare with the Catholic church. In the 17th century, the Protestant movement was divided. In the 18th century, it continued go spread and splinter, and did so throughout the 19th century. It has continued to divide in the 20th century, Events of the early 20th century, early-mid 20th century, mid 20th century, late-mid 20th century, late 20th century, and early 21st century are significant. Its future is obscure. |
