Particular governments are barely traceable. There is some evidence of its growth in early prehistory including the Pliocene, early Pleistocene, early mid Pleistocene, late mid pleistocene, and Late Pleistocene. Information on possible origins of government in middle prehistory is indirect and scanty at best. I do not yet have connections to the 5th decamillennium BC, 4th decamillennium BC, 3rd decamillennium BC, or 2nd decamillennium BC. In late prehistory, the material evidence of government is more abundant, but still fairly scanty. I do not yet have much information about the early 8th millennium BC, late 8th millennium BC, early 7th millennium BC, late 7th millennium BC, early 6th millennium BC, or late 6th millennium BC.
Particular government can be identified. Governments grew larger and more powerful in the 5th Millennium BC, although I do not yet have details of the early 5th millennium BC, early mid 5th millennium BC, mid 5th millennium BC, late mid 5th millennium BC, or late 5th millennium BC. The 4th millennium BC can be connected. I do not yet have details of the early 4th millennium BC, early mid 4th millennium BC, mid 4th millennium BC, late mid 4th millenium BC, or late 4th millennium BC. Starting about the third millennium BC government can be studied in considerably more detail with the rise of bronze age civilization. The early 3rd millennium BC, early mid 3rd millennium BC, mid 3d millennium BC, late mid 3rd millennium BC, and late 3rd millennium BC can be connected. Developments can also be followed in the second millennium BC. The early 2nd millennium BC, early mid 2nd millennium BC, mid 2nd millennium BC, and late mid 2nd millennium BC, and late 2nd millennium BC an be connected. The first millennium BC including the 10th century BC, 9th century BC, 8th century BC, 7th century BC, and 6th century BC can be connected.
