Heads of state and government have a signifcant history. I cannot identify them in prehistory, but they appear in antiquity. Classical and medieval history including early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval times can be examined.

Their titles and functions have changed through modern history, and in the 16th, 17th century, 18th century, and 19th century. Developments in the 20th century including the early 2oth century, early-mid 20th century, mid 20th centjry, late-mid 20th century, late 20th century, and early 21st century can be followed. The future is obscure

Connections to sociology can be made. Peoples including and Asiatic peoples, Western Civilization, African peoples, and American Indian peoples all have differing forms. Nations including the United States, China, India, and Indonesia can be considered. Examples from communities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York City can be considered. Social structure and change will also be explored.

This is connected to families, other areas of education, economics, government, and religion.

Connections to culture including material culture, conceptual culture, and behavioral culture may also be made.

Anthropology including Social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, human ecology, human geography, and particular groups is also useful. Specific connections to personal studies and science will be explored as this site develops.
