Western Law has a significant history. It is difficult to follow during prehistory, but began to arise during antiquity. It developed significantly in classical and medieval times including early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval times. It is especially important in modern times and has developed through the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, and 19th century. 20th century including the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, mid 20th century, late mid 20th century, and late 20th century can be considered. Its future is obscure.

Connections to sociology including social structure and change and communities will be explored. Peoples of the world including particular nations and major divisions of Western Civilization, Asiatic peoples, African peoples, and American Indian peoples can be used to examine it.

This is connected to families, other areas of education, economics, government, and religion. Specific connections to culture, anthropology, personal studies, and science will be explored as this site develops.
