International government

These are governments which include multiple peoples and nationalities. Not only strong empires, but weak associations and organizations composed of representatives selected by governments will be included in this category. These can be roughly categorized as traditional empires, colonial empires, and modern compacts.

Traditional empires

These are now practically extinct.

Colonial Empires

These include greater and lesser colonial empires.

Modern compacts

These include such things as temporary alliances, special purpose associations, regional associations, and world governments, (for example the League of Nations, United Nations)

History

The history of international government through prehistory is obscure. Antiquity including the 5th millennium BC, 4th millennium BC, 3rd millennium BC, 2nd millennium BC, and early 1st millennium BC can be considered. In classical and medieval times, traditional empires predominated during early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval periods.

In modern history, traditional empires began to decline as colonial empires began to rise in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. In the 19th century, Colonial empires approached their height of influence, but the roots of modern compacts began to form. In the early 19th century, Britain and othe nations defeated the French in the Napoleonic wars. the early-mid 19th century, Latin American broke away from Spain. In the mid In 19th century, The British began a series of conflicts with Russia and expanded its influence in the Middle East, and formed various alliances for the purpose. In the late-mid 19th century, international alliances mostly led by the British empire were also influential. In the late 19th century with the partition of African, colonial empires reached nearly their maximum extent, and the rapid industrialization of the Japanese gave it influence in international alliances.

The 20th century, international government has developed yet more. In the early 1900s, the last of the traditional empires fell, and modern compacts such as the League of Nations were formed. In the early-mid 20th century, colonial empires were at their greatest extent, but showed signs of strain. In the mid 20th century, colonial empires began to come apart and many modern compacts such as the United Nations were formed. In the late-mid 20th century, colonial empires were even further dismantled, while modern compacts further replaced them. In the late 20th century, Modern compacts contined to prevail over the remnants of colonial empires. I do not yet have details of the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, or late 1990s.

In the early 21st century, similar conditions have prevailed. Details of the early 2000s including 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 have yet to be studied.

The late 2000s can be examined. 2006 into the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter, and 2007 down to the first quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter including July, August, and September and 4th quarter including October, November, and December will be examined. 2008 including the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter can also be considered. 2009 including the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter can be connected.

2010 including the first quarter, second quarter 2010, and third quarter 2010 can be connected. The fourth quarter 2010 and modern compacts including events of October 2010 and November 2010 can be connected. December 2010 has connections to modern compacts. 2010 week 49, 2010 week 50, 2010 week 51, and 2010 week 52 can be examined. 2010 week 53 has connections to modern compacts.

The early 2010s can be connected. 2011 can be connected. The first quarter 2011 can be connected. January 2011 including 2011 week 1, 2011 week 2, 2011 week 3, 2011 week 4, 2011 week 5, and 2011 week 6 can be connected. February 2011 including 2011 week 6, 2011 week 7, and 2011 week 8 can be connected.

The future is obscure.
