The practice of teaching, or pedagogy, as it it is also called, is highly significant in education, but not yet closely studied on this site. |

This has not yet been thoroughly examined.

Science including physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth science, and biology seems to have indirect connections. Specific connections to personal studies will be explored as this site develops. Anthropology including social foundations, demography, physical anthropology, human ecology, human geography, and particular groups can be connected. Culture including material culture , conceptual culture, and behavioral culture will be significant. Connections to families, economics, government, religion, and other areas of education will also be made. |

Sociology including social structure and change and communities will be useful. Communities including Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York City may give specific examples. Peoples of the world including groupings such as Asiatic peoples, Western civilization, African peoples, American Indian peoples will provide examples. Nations such as the United States, China, India, and Indonesia will give specific examples. The history of teaching is not quite clear to me. It originated in prehistory and can be followed somewhat through antiquity. A number of methods can be followed through classical and medieval times, There has been substantial study in modern times, and practices have changed throughout the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, and 19th century. The 20th century including the early 20th century, early mid 20th century, mid 20th century, late mid 20th century, late 20th century, and early 21st century including the early 2000s, and 2000s can be considered. The future is obscure. |
