HistoryThe history of economic systems is obscure, but they have evolved over time starting from prehistory. In antiquity, their development has continued through the 5th millennium BC, 4th millennium BC, 3rd millennium BC, 2nd millennium BC, and early firstMillennium BC. In classical and medieval times, including the early clasical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval periods, they continued to evolve. In modern times, their study has extended substantially. In the 16th and 17th century, analysis was largely based on philosophy. In the 18th century, economic systems were studied in more detail. I do not yet have details for the early 18th century, early mid 18th century, mid 18th century, late mid 18th century, or late 18th century. In the 19th century including the early 19th century, the early mid 19th century, the mid 19th century, the late mid 19th century, and the late 19th century they expanded considerably. In the 20th century, including the early 20th century, early-mid 20th century, mid 20th century and late-mid 20th century, these have been studied in some detail, though not yet on this site. Events of the late 20th century including the early 1980s, late 1980s, early 1990s, and late 1990s can be considered. Recent events of the early 21st century including early 2000s down to 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 are being examined. The late 2000s including 2006 can be examined. Events of 2007 including those of the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and fourth quarter can be considered. Events of the first quarter 2008 can also be considered. Their future is obscure. |
