At present, this is intended as an alphabetical list of the largest companies in the world.

Specific connections to science will be explored as this site develops. Personal studies including the human body, psychology, and biography can be connected. Anthropology including social fundamentals, demography, human geography, physical anthropology, human ecology, and particular groups will be discussed as the site expands further.

Culture including material culture, conceptual culture, and behavioral culture will also be significant. Customs, occupations, performing arts, sports and games, and events will be useful.

Other Institutions

This will be connected to families and education.

Government including law, government activity, government structure, and particular governments is also useful.

Religion including religious beliefs, practice, organization, and particular religious such as Abrahamic, Asiatic, secularist, and pagan have not usually been closely examined.

Economic activity, particular industries, and economic systems will be closely connected.

There are also connections to sociology, including social structure and change. Communities including Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, New York City will be useful. Peoples of the world give examples. Western Civilization is predominant, but Asiatic peoples are also present. African and Native American peoples are much less influential. Particular nations such as the United States, China, India, and Indonesia will provide much of the detail.

History is useful in the study of companies. They are not well known from prehistory or antiquity, but seem to have arisen in classical and medieval times. In modern history, from the 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, and 19th Century they have been important, and in the 20th century, including the early 20th century, early-mid 20th century, mid 20th century, late-mid 20th century, and late 20th century they are highly important. Current and recent events are found in the early 21st century, including the early 2000s. The late 2000s including 2006 and 2007 will be useful. Their future is also important.
