Peoples of the world can be used to examine the early 8th millennium BC, the late 8th millennium BC, the early 7th millennium BC, the late 7th millennium BC, the early 6th millennium BC, and the late 6th millennium BC.
Particular nations may provide something of a guide. Ecuador, Niger, Guatemala, Senegal, Angola, Mali, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cuba, Greece, Portugal, Belgium, Tunisia, Czech Republic, Guinea, and Rwanda, Serbia, Chad, Hungary, Belarus Somalia, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Sweden, Haiti, Burundi, Benin, Austria, Azerbaijan, Honduras, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Tajikistan, Israel, El Salvador, Hong Kong, Paraguay, Laos, Sierra Leone, Jordan, Libya, Papua New Guinea, Togo, Nicaragua, Denmark, Slovakia, Kyrgystan, and Finland can be connected.

Andean peoples including those of Colombia, Argentina, and Peru can be connected. Amazonian peoples including those of Brazil and Argentina can be connected. Cono/Southern American Indian peoples including some of those of Argentina can be connected. Remains of North American Indian peoples can be found in the present-day United States and Canada. Eastern North American Indian peoples, Western North American Indian peoples, and Northern North American Indian peoples can be connected.
Communities can be used to examine the early 8th millennium BC, late 8th millennium BC, early 7th millennium BC, late 7th millennium BC, early 6th millennium BC, and late 6th millennium BB. Few modern communities can be traced to this period.
Social structure and change can be used to examine the early 8th millennium BC, late 8th millennium BC, early 7th millennium BC, late 7th millennium BC, early 6th millennium BC, and late 6th millennium BC.
Social change including processes of change, and factors of change can be examined. Particular changes include principally the Agricultural revolution, although it may be possible to trace the Agrarian revolution to this period.
Social types seem to have included hunting and gathering societies, horticultural societies, and possibly the beginnings of agrarian societies. Social structure including anthropological structure, cultural structure, institutional structure, class structure, and community and regional structure can be examined.
