SociologyPeoples of the world include African peoples. Particular nations, such as Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Russia can be considered. Western Civilization is important. This includes the United States which under Eisenhower was vigorously anti-Communist. Among Asiatic peoples, Indonesia was led by Sukarno. Among South Asian peoples, in India. Jawaharlal Nehru increasingly attracted attention as a leader of the "non-aligned" nations which were not attracted to either the US or Soviet led camps. Among Oriental peoples, I have few details for China except that Mao was the principal leader. American Indian peoples such as those found in the United States are less directly significant. Communities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York City can be connected. Social structure including anthropological structure, cultural structure, institutional structure, class structure, and community and regional structure will be important. Social types including hunting and gathering socieites, horticultural societies, agrarian societies, and industrial societies can be connected. Social change including social change factors, social change processes, and particular changes can be connected. InstitutionsReligion including religious beliefs, practice, organization, and particular religious traditions can be connected. Government including law, government structure, government activity, and international government can be connected.
