c. 1960 - 1963. Kennedy is elected US President, and leads the US in various Cold War incidents and conflicts.
c. 1962-1973 US involved in Vietnam war.
c. 1965 Pincus published work on human endocrine system that lead to development of a birth-control pill.

Social types including hunting and gathering socieites, horticultural societies, agrarian societies, and industrial societies can be connected. Social change including social change factors, social change processes, and particular changes can be connected.
