I have few details at present except for a couple of announcements of scientific discoveries from NASA, and a large eartquake in central China.

There was flooding in the US midwest, an outbreak of food poisnoning due to salmonalla-contaminated tomatoes, and a US-European Untion summit meeting. China participated in cross-strait talks with Taiwan in order to improve relations.
