There are so far connections to British, but few to Australian peoples. These specifically include the United Kingdom, which was a badly damaged and weakened but victorious member of the Allies in World War II, but began to fall from international dominance as its empire was dismembered. Anglo-Americans became more prominent. The United States, One of the Allies in World War II and leading opponent of the USSR in the subsequent Cold War) became one of world's "Superpowers". Canada allied with the United Kingdom and US in World War II and in the subsequent Cold War. Cities include New York City.
Latin peoples give important information about the mid 20th century in general. Venezuela can be considered. Cities include Sao Paulo.

Northeast European includes Russia (Also one of the Allies in World War II and opponent of the US in the subsequent Cold War). Ukraine was part of the USSR. Poland was invaded and torn up in WW II and subjected to a Communist governent afterward. Balkan and Scandinavian peoples also have significant events.
Asiatic peoples provide important information about the early 1940s, late 1940s, early 1950s, and late 1950s. Nations belonging to Asiatic peoples with historical notes for this period include Taiwan. Cities include Osaka.
Middle Eastern peoples are also important. I have few details for Yemen. Turkey (which participated somewhat in WW II) can be connected. Levantine peoples have made contributions to the mid-20th century. Egypt wa fully independent and Arab nationalist. Mesopotamian peoples including Iraq can be connected. Persian peoples include Iran (for which I have few details). I have few details for Afghanistan. For Arabian peoples, I do not yet have details of Saudi Arabia. India provides important information about the early 1940s. In the late 1940s it became independent. It also has important information about the early 1950s, and late 1950s. Its city of Bombay was particularly significant.
Pakistan (Created along with India) was significant. Bangladesh (Created as East Pakistan) was also significant.
Central asian peoples including those of Uzbekistan are also significant.
Oriental peoples give some information about the early 1950s and late 1950s. North Korea can be connected. Cities include Shanghai.
China was divided between Communist and Nationalist and occupied by Japan during World War II, Communist and allied with the USSR afterward. Japan with its city of Tokyo was one of the Axis powers in World War II, occupied by then allied with the US afterward. South Korea with its city of Seoul can be connected, and was involved in the Korean war.
Southeast Asian peoples give some information about the mid 20th century. Malaysia can be connected.
Peoples of Mainland Southeast Asia include Vietnam (occupied by Japan in WW II, divided between Communist and non-Communist parts afterward). Thailand was independent. Burma can be connected. Among Interior East African peoples, I have little information on Sudan. Among Central East African peoples, I have little information on Tanzania or Kenya. West African nations including those of Ghana can be considered. I do not yet have details of Southern Coastal West African peoples including those of Nigeria. Southern Africa includes South Africa. Among Central African peoples, in Congo there was increasing resistance to colonial rule.
American Indian peoples may give some information about the the mid 20th century. Venezuela can be considered. Cities include Mexico City.

Middle American Indian peoples so far provide little information about the mid 20th century.
Mexico can be considered. Southwestern American Indian peoples including those found in the southwestern United States can be considered.
South American peoples such as those found in Peru can be connected. Andean peoples such as those of Colombia and Argentina can be considered. Amazonian peoples such as those of Brazil and Argentina can be considered. Cono/Southern American Indian peoples such as those of Argentina can be connected.
North American Indian peoples so far give little information about the mid 20th century. Peoples found in the United States and Canada were submerged. Eastern North American Indian peoples, Western North American Indian peoples, and Northern North American Indian peoples can be connected.
