Sociology applied to future studies

Examination of peoples of the world, communities, and social structure and change is vital to examination of the future.

This can be applied to the near future, the middle future, and the far future.

Peoples of the world

Western Civilization including Anglic, Latin, Germanic, Northeast European, Balkan, and Scandinavian peoples can be applied to examination of the future. Asiatic peoples including Middle Eastern, South Asian, Central Asian, Oriental, and Southeast Asian peoples can also be applied. African peoples including East African, West African, Southern African, and South African peoples can also be considered. American Indian peoples including Middle American Indian, South American Indian, and North American Indian peoples can be connected.

Communities

Particular communities with connections to the near future, middle future, and possibly the far future are mentioned below under the peoples they belong to.

Poona, St. Petersburg, Kuala Lumpur, and Nanking are some that are not yet linked.

Social structure and change

This can be applied to studies of the the near future, middle future, and far future.

Social change

Particular changes will need to be considered for the near future, middle future, and far future. It will be important to investigate the agricultural revolution, agrarian revolution, and industrial revolution, including the early industrial revolution, middle industrialization, and computerization stages. Social change processes including innovation, transmission, adaptation, and extinction can be considered. Social change factors including institutional change, cultural change, demographic change, and natural change will be an essential part of future studies.

Social types

hunting and gathering societies, horticultural societies, agrarian societies, and industrial societies can be considered.

Social structure

community and regional structure, class structure, institutional structure, cultural structure, and anthropological structure will be useful.
