Christianity is important. Primitive Christianity will hot be much help, but Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodoxy, and Mormonism have connections. Islam is significant. Asiatic religion is significant. Persian religion including Zoroastrianism, Manicheanism, and Mithraism seems to have limited applicability. Indian religion including Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism can be connected. Oriental religion including Confucianism, Taoism, and Shinto can be considered. Secularism is also prominent. Religious organization including unstructured, fragmented, and highly structured organizations, religious practice, and religious belief is also important to the future.
Particular governments are useful in examining the future. International government is also useful, although traditional empires and the vestiges of colonial empires are far less useful than modern compacts such as world governments, particularly the United Nations, regional organizations, special purpose organizations, and temporary alliances. National governments can also be considered. Local governments may also be useful. Government activity including can be connected. State relations including warfare, diplomacy, and espionage can be connected. Administration is also important. Succession including inheritance, election, appointment, and seizure can be connected. Government structure such as government forms, heads of state, executive systems, legislative systems, andpolitical parties will be useful. Law including international law, Western Law, Asiatic law, and tribal law can be connected.
Economic systems including economic system behavior, economic system types, networks, and firms will be important. Industries and companies such as Toyota Motor, Chevron, ING, Total including agriculture, extraction and manufacturing companies such as Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, BP, social and medical services, transportation, communication, and commercial and financial services with companies such as Wal-Mart will be important. Economic activities including production, distribution and exchange, and consumption are significant.
