The far future is closely connected to other areas of history. At this range, classical and medieval history is significant, although this continues from modern history, such as the 19th century and the 20th century. It is examined in the early 21st century. It is also connected to the near future, though most directly to the middle future, including the next 5 years, next 20 years, next century, and next 5 centuries including the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th centuries. |

It depends heavily on sociology including peoples of the world. Particular nations such as the United States, China, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia can be connected. Western civilization, Asiatic peoples, African, and Native American peoples can be connected. Communities can be connected. Social structure and change including social structure, social types, and social change are useful to consider. Institutions including religion, government, economics, government, education, and families will be important. Culture including material culture, conceptual culture, and behavioral culture will be significant. It is also connected to anthropology, including social foundations, demography, human geography, physical anthropology, human ecology, and particular groups. There are connections to personal studies. Studies of the human body and psychology will be useful, although there is no guarantee that current facts will remain valid over such long periods. Biographies are also less useful, because it is not yet possible to determine the influence of people not yet born. This will be connected to science, perhaps not so directly physics or chemistry, but astronomy, earth science, and biology will be connected. |
