Anglic peoples, Latin peoples, Germanic peoples, Northeast European peoples, Balkan peoples, and Scandinavian peoples can be used to examine early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval times. Cities such as Barcelona can be connected.
These were prominent in early classical times, late classical times, early medieval times, and late medieval times. Hungary at present may have information about early medieval times and late medieval times. Serbia at present may have information about early medieval times and late medieval times. Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Albania at present give no detail about classical and medieval times. Kosovo can be connected to classical and medieval times. Macedonia can be connected, to classical and medieval times. Istanbul belonged to Balkan peoples through most of early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval times.
Parts of Turkey included some of these peoples in early classical, late classical early medieval, and late medieval times. Greece provides substantial information about early classical, late classical, early medieval, and late medieval times.

Slavic peoples were present and being Christianized in early medieval times, and had an important and powerful kingdom in late medieval times. For the Czech Republic I do not yet have details for late classical times, early medieval times, or late medieval times. For Belarus I do not yet have details of early medieval times or late medieval times. Slovakia, Moldova, Lithuania, and Latvia can be considered. The earliest references to Moscow appear in late medieval times.
The written history of the British began in this period. In early classical times, the Roman empire established control of part of the Anglic peoples. This began to decline in late classical times. In early medievel times, these were invaded by Germanic peoples. In late medieval times, they developed into the modern nations, and it becomes necessary to distinnguish British peoples from the Anglo-American colonial peoples. Extension to Canada began at the very end of late medieval times. The city of London was founded during this period.
The Anglic peoples are considered identical to the British peoples for most of this period. I do not know a great deal about Ireland. What is now the United Kingdom had significant Roman influence in early classical and late classical times. In the early medieval period, Germanic (Saxon) and Scandinavian-based kingdoms predominated. In late medieval times, following the Norman conquest, the modern nation began to develop.
Scandinavian peoples so far do not provide much information about classical and medieval times. Sweden can be identified in late medieval times. Denmark, Finland, and Norway appeared in the historical record, but at present I do not have details for them.
