South American geography (human)

Subdivisions of this have not yet been organized, but should probably include the Amazon, Northern Andes, Central Andes, Southern Andes, and Southern South America.

Connections to science, personal studies, and other anthropology will be examined as the site develops. Culture including material culture, conceptual culture, and behavioral culture can be connected. Institutions including families, education, economics, government, and religion will be connected.

This is closely connected to sociology. Social structure and change including social structure, social types, and social change will be important. Communities including Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, New York City can be connected. It is also connected to peoples. There is little connection to Asiatic peoples but Western Civilization is important. African peoples are neighboring and have some connection. American Indian peoples are particulary useful. Particular nations including the United States, China, India, and Indonesia have limited application to South American geography.

The history of South American Geography is not well known, and has been studied principally during modern times. Its future is obscure.
