The history of geography in this area will also be significant. At present I lack details of prehistory, antiquity, or classical and medieval history. Modern explorations are particularly important. Only limited surveyd were done in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuryies, but they expanded considerably in the 19th century. In the20th century including the early 20th, early-mid 20th, mid 20th, late-mid 20th, late 20th, and early 21st century, explorations have been hindered by political and religious conflict. |

There will also be connections to sociology. There are connections to the peoples that have inhabited this area. This is heavily influenced by Asiatic peoples, mostly native to the region and has been influenced by parts of Western civilization. Particular nations such as the United States, China, India, and Indonesia can be connected. This may include some communities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, and New York City. Social structure and change may be useful. Connections to institutions such as families, education, economics, government, and religion are also very significant. Connections to culture including conceptual culture are also significant. European geography is one of its connected neighbors. Southwest Asia is somewhat connected to personal studies including biographies. |
